The Love of Money

We accuse rich people of loving money, but the truth is poor people love money.  The rich people I meet let money flow through them easily.  They aren’t misers, worried about figuring out the exact amount to tip so they don’t have to give too much.  They don’t stiff people they owe, they don’t worry about having enough money to pay the bills, they don’t lie awake at night thinking about how to pay the rent.  We all know the Proverb: the love of money is the root of all evil.  Many people use this as a reason not to get rich.  But tell me who loves money more?  The person who has enough to give away or the person who doesn’t have enough so they worry and think about it all the time.  Rich people use money as a tool to do more, be more and have more.  Poor people love every dollar because they need every dollar.
